I have owned the boat for 20 years and have put over ½ the engine hours on her. The oil and oil filter has been changed every fall since I owned her. 10w 30 oil. Valves were adjusted every 400 hours. Transmission oil has been changed about every other year. She always starts and has run for 24 hours at a time continuously without a hitch or hiccup. Smokes a bit on cold starts. No smoke while running. Sweet Spot is 1700 RPM. 3000 RPM Max - 40 horse power. I have video of her cold starting and running after three days at anchor in McCargo Cove Isle Royale this past summer. I can text the video to anyone who wants it.
